About the audiobook
8 Hour Lucid Dreaming Sleep Hypnosis is a full night of sleep hypnosis for dream awareness and dream recall, written and narrated by Joel Thielke, C.Ht. It begins with a guided beach induction and a slow deepening into sleep, then a lucid dreaming session that sets a calm, clear intention to notice when you are dreaming.
Through the night, softer sessions return about every ninety minutes over slow, drifting sleep music. Near morning a dream recall session turns to remembering and understanding your dreams, and a gentle wake-up brings you back at the eight-hour mark. The five parts run about 96 minutes each and play in order.
Start it as you get into bed, keep the volume low and let it play all night, with shuffle and any sleep timer off. A speaker by the bed works as well as headphones.
Joel Thielke is a certified clinical hypnotherapist (C.Ht.) and NLP trainer who has been creating hypnosis programs for more than 20 years.
Questions
- Do I need to stay awake for it?
- No. It's a sleep program, so falling asleep is the point. If you drift off during the induction, good. You may or may not remember the sessions, and that's okay.
- Why are the later sessions quieter?
- They're quieter on purpose, so they can reach you without waking you. Keep the volume low and resist turning them up.
- Is there anything hidden under the music?
- No. There are no hidden messages and no subliminal affirmations under the music. What you hear is all there is.
- Can I use it for a nap or a short night?
- Part 1 on its own, about an hour and a half, gives you the induction, the deepening and the full lucid dreaming session. It has no wake-up, so set an alarm if you need one.
- What should I know before I listen?
- You are always in control: if you need or choose to wake, just open your eyes. Never listen while driving or operating machinery. If you live with a sleep disorder, seizures or a mental health condition, talk to a qualified professional before you use sleep hypnosis.
